despite the fact that my friends all headed to Lamma Island to enjoy the lovely sunny day,

and that I am still stucked with this endless final report thing.

 

I had dinner at LG1 (part of the canteen). I ordered "Assorted grill with selected meat item (with rice)", in Cantonese "Pa Fan-Sheung Pin". So I picked beef steak with bacon. served in 'onion sauce'.

 

I waited for about 10 minutes.

 

What came really impressed me -- on the thin layer of rice, there were:

PORK CHOP (HUUUUGH), BEEF STEAK, BACON, FROZEN SAUSAGE AND FROZEN HAM.

 

They served me everything on the menu.

I hesitated for a moment, examined every item with all  respect.

I thought they might realize and take it back.

But they didn't.

 

So I ate, and I ate and I ate. It took me 40 minutes, non-stop, to finish the whole dish.

At last, I was only charged HK$32 (US$4.10), the price of what I ordered.

 

I don't see myself as a carnivore. In fact, I tried to be an herbivore some time ago.

But still, that was a helluva meal!

So the weather is really f**ked up.

 

I wonder what else we can do to destroy our nest. So stupid people, why don't you turn off your stupid air conditioners.
